The fact that the devs thought pointless fetch quest where the way to go really kills my motivation to play this game. I tried back in 2016, reached a rift portal in the hinterlands then quit. Recently tried playing it again wondering why i haven't touched the game in like seven years and reached the hinterland area again. Combat is fucking terrible in this game, like it wants to be a turn base strategy game, dark souls, and have real time combat and its just a mess. I hate having to juggle other characters because of their idiotic tendencies to tank damage but your also an idiot because you can't dodge which leads to you having to tank damage. I hate how simplistic combat is, you literally hild the attack button and wait for your skills to come off cool down. I hate the wonky camera angles in combat, half the time im attacking the air. Like i said combat sucks so you get rushed by enemies so you got to either keep chugging health potions or run circles but that's literally every dragon age game. Did i mention the dog shit questing, its really fucking terrible like what even is the point? I'm listening ro this video and I'm like what are the goals here, i thought it had something to do with the werid green glowie hands but nah that plot goes out the window and another takes its place only to get thrown out the window and because we got no goal the game feels a chore like how WoW currently is

One of the most broken build is a duo wielding rouge. At some point you almost never take damage because you almost dodge everything. Stand in front and let your ranged character mop the floor with the enemy. Good times.

Ahhh the quest with Feynriel I went in blind and nearly soft locked myself as a squishy mage Hawke. When Fenris said he didn’t want to go in I went "me neither buddy, because Fade portions suck" and brought him anyway. I had made him super OP and gave him that one sweeping attack which meant he took out my entire party exactly .002 seconds after the fight started. I don't remember how I got out of it, which I did eventually.

Finishing Far Harbour without leaving the island and going back to Commonwealth with Kasumi during day time and the sun is up to finally conclude the what started the whole quest on that map hits harder than the main questline for some reason.

its ok game to playthrough once i guess. if you like dialogues in games there is lot of dialogue.... but i got somewhat bored around half of the game and rushed to finish main story. never played the dlc.

I know this is 3 years old, but I remember as a kid seeing this game at a garage sale. I was probably 9 or 10 around that time, but the game was being sold for $5. I wanted my dad to get it so bad, to which they ended up giving me the game for free because we spent like 75 dollars there. I was so happy just to find out the game wasn't even in the case. Instead it was Republic Cammando, I was devastated at first until I actually played that game. Either way played the game much later when I was 19.

I think you misunderstand the SW franchise on a pretty fundamental level. Just for example, you say SW is full of deus ex machina that just gets explained by the will of the force. When? No it doesn't. You've got Jedi walking around saying everything is the will of the force, but the writers never make that the case. That's just a spiritual character saying spiritual gibberish. I can't think of anything, in even the worst SW outing, that has something happen that cannot be explained by anything other than the will of the force. That's just one of those lazy observations people make about SW, because it's very trendy to make lazy observations about SW (it has black and white, binary morality...no it doesn't, explain Boba fetts morality) that say more about how the observer misunderstood a movie franchise for 12 year olds than it does about the actual examples of SW to evaluate.
